Intuitive Website Design
One of the things that I repeatedly hear from clients is comments like “I can’t believe how spot on this is” and “You created exactly what I wanted without a lot of information”. I wholeheartedly credit this to my intuitive website design philosophy.
When I start working with a client, I ask for a bunch of info like what they are inspired by, what apps they use, and who their ideal client is. I ask about websites that they’ve seen that they liked, and what they’ve seen that they didn’t like. And after we gather all of the content (copy and photos), I put my head down and go to work. I typically spend 2-3 weeks building out the site and working my magic and my favorite tool is my intuition.
Yes, I get a lot of info up front, but I get into the mindset of both the business owner and the ideal client when I design a website and I trust the gut feelings that come up. I often test new things which are received well.
This process of allowing my intuition to guide me means that I get to take risks, save time, and deliver exactly what the client wanted (whether or not they even realized it!)
If you are an entrepreneur, obviously I’d love for you to fill out an application to work with me, but my real hope of this article is to share with you that leaning into the gifts and divine qualities that we carry is the real beauty of our businesses. Your unique experiences, gifts, and ways of doing things are the juiciest part of your business because you’re doing it in a way that no one else can: you’re doing it your way.
